About PEHEL (E-Waste Collection Initiative)
PEHEL (E-Waste Handling for Eco-friendly Lifestyle) is a city wide initiative dedicated to promoting responsible electronic waste management and creating a cleaner, greener future for the City. For the past several years, various social organizations have collaboratively organized this mega-drive to raise awareness and encourage citizens to dispose of their household e-waste responsibly.
Continuing this effort, PEHEL 2026 will be conducted on 22nd February, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, across multiple locations in Dhule, Buldana, Parbhani, and Sindhudurg. We urge citizens to come forward and contribute by donating the unused, damaged, or recyclable electronic items from their homes. Your participation supports environmental conservation and ensures that e-waste is recycled through scientific and authorized processes.

PEHEL aims to create strong awareness in society about the scientific and responsible disposal of electronic waste, encouraging citizens to adopt proper e-waste handling practices as a regular habit. This initiative helps reduce environmental pollution and promotes a safe, sustainable, and eco-friendly lifestyle through systematic e-waste management.

We appeal to housing societies, NGOs, commercial organizations, volunteers, and all citizens to actively participate in this noble cause. You can contribute by donating the e-waste generated at home at the nearest PEHEL 2026 E-waste Collection Centre.

Disposal of E-waste After Collection
- Collected e-waste is segregated.
- Repairable items are refurbished and donated to the needy.
- Non-repairable items are handed over to MPCB-authorized e-waste recyclers for scientific recycling and safe disposal.
