About PEHEL
On the auspicious occasion of Saint Gadge Maharaj Jayanti and National Science Day, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and various social organizations in Pune have organized a Mega Drive named PEHEL for E waste and plastic waste collection on Sunday, 25th February, 2024 at around 300+ centres across Pune city. We appeal all citizens to participate actively in the Mega-drive & support Environment Conservation.

Our Motto
The moto behind this drive is creating awareness amongst the society regarding proper disposal method of E-waste and Plastic making it a regular handling practice for scientific disposal.
Your Contribution
We appeal you (societies/NGOs/ commercial organizations/ volunteers) to participate in this noble cause. We appeal all the residents of Pune City to donate their E-waste and Plastic waste at the nearest centres and play your part of responsibility towards Environment Conservation.

Disposal of waste after collection
Collected E-waste is segregated. Repairable E-waste is refurbished & donated to needy. Non-repairable E-waste is handed over to MPCB Authorized Recyclers. Plastic waste is handed over for recycling through scientific methods by authorized recyclers.
